Seventh Terminal - Remake

"Though it has been many years since your user has last booted the terminal, you duty has not changed; defend the system from incoming viruses. It has been this way for as long you can remember, when the systems were buzzing with activity. But those were better days, before the users left, and the terminals started to become compromised, one by one. Now, you are the last remaining anti-virus to defend against the viruses, knowing that you, too, will soon fall. But it doesn't matter, not any more. The old days are gone, and you stand ready to die for your one duty; defend the Seventh Terminal"

This a remake of an old game jam game called Seventh Terminal. You play as an anti-virus software, defending their system against an endless horde of viruses in this arcade based, action packed FPS. How long can you survive for?

Controls:

WASD - Movement

Mouse - move camera

Left mouse button - regular fire button (can be held down for rapid firing)

Right mouse button - alt fire button (A single projectile that pierces enemy and deals additional damage)

Space - Jump

P - pause

Overheat:

When firing your gun, you will build up the overheat gauge, with regular fire slowly building up the gauge and alt fire increasing the gauge by a set amount. The overheat gauge will drain over time, but it if maxes out, your gun overheats and you can't use it until the gauge completely drains out.

Final Notes:

This project took me about 6-7 months to do. It's not the most glamorous game out there, but I'm proud of the work that I've done here.
